My guests arrived at Takayama station at 5:00PM and we started our tour on the next day.
After leaving Takayama by my private car, we visited 3 villages which were designated as UNESCO’s World Heritage sites in 1995. They enjoyed the breathtaking scenery at each location and said “Suganuma is definately the best of the three!!”
Suganuma is a small village with only nine Gassho-style houses with villegers still live everyday life. You still have chance to see the authentic charm of the old Japanese living scene.
