My guests arrived at Takayama station at 5:00PM and we started our tour on the next day.

After leaving Takayama by my private car, we visited 3 villages which were designated as UNESCO’s World Heritage sites. They enjoyed the breathtaking scenery at each location and said “Suganuma is definately the best of the three!!”

Suganuma is a small village with only nine Gassho-style houses with villegers still live everyday life. You still have chance to see the authentic charm of the old Japanese living scene.
